Our Story
Founding The Stringin' it! Orchestra in December 2020, Director Christopher T. McDuffie's intention was to spread festive cheer to his neighbors during the struggles brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the orchestra became so much more than that. By putting on annual Halloween and Christmas programs, The Stringin' it! Orchestra began to gain attention and popularity. To the community, the orchestra means so much more: a way to get out and enjoy music with one another. Christopher intends to keep the tradition going past his years of college, and he hopes his fellow members will be right there with him - ready to share the gift of music.
